The Main Stream Media is at it again. They are using basically the same language to describe the attendance at the pro gay rights march on Washington as they used for the 9-12 anti-tax march. They are saying it was attended by “thousands”. Reading the reports you are led to believe attendance at both was similar. Nothing could be further from the truth. The attendance at the 9-12 event exceeded that of the gay march by a double digit factor. Problem is, to admit that the media would also have to admit that the “Tea Party Mobs” are more than just a small minority of the U.S. population and should be ignored.
I have heard members of Congress claim the authority for their involvement in health care comes from Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution. This claim shows a true lack of knowledge on the part of these members of Congress. This section does say the “Congress shall have the power to … provide … for the general Welfare of the United States”. Note, there is nothing in this section that says anything about the welfare of individual citizens. The section only speaks to the welfare of the nation as a whole. If the founders had intended this to refer to the people as individuals they would have said so. Were the argument that health care legislation is permitted by this section there would be NO limit to the power of Congress as they could argue that anything they wanted to do was permitted because it was for the generale welfare.
Article 1 Section 8 also requires that Excise Taxes shall be uniform throughout the United States. The Senate Heath Care Bill exempts some states from several tax provisions. This exemption is a direct violation of this Constitutional provision.
There are those who would call me a “political terrorist” due to my views. They also call me a racist due to my disagreement with BO. It is the height of arrogance that the same people who called George Bush every name in the book should condemn me for disagreeing with their warped view of the Constitution. They condemn me for actions that they claimed were the height of patriotism when they used them to condemn Bush.
Government Health Care
If you think the government can run an efficient health care system you need to read this:
According to Military.com, the Army veteran Juan Rivera, 55 years old, claims he contracted HIV from the procedure on or about May 19, 2008. Rivera said he had been tested twice and both times he was positive for the disease.
In December, the VA’s Tennessee Health Care System identified a problem related to the “reprocessing” of endoscopy equipment, which exposed otherwise healthy individuals to cross-contamination.
The VA says the errors were limited to the three states, but a report by the agency’s Inspector General suggested more widespread problems.
Subsequently, all VA facilities were told to review their processes to ensure that they were in compliance with the manufacturer’s instructions, according to the report. Completed in December and January, these reviews also identified significant reprocessing issues at the Augusta VA Medical Center and at the Miami VA Medical Center, both of which required patient notifications and testing.
Those who may have been exposed to cross-contamination were patients that received endoscopic procedures at the Murfreesboro GI Clinic from April 2003 to December 2008; Augusta ENT Clinic from January 2008 to November 2008; and Miami GI Clinic from May 2004 to March 2009.
VA has issued a statement saying they will continue to notify, inform, and treat all potentially impacted Veterans, regardless of risk, cause, or harm.
To complicate matters for the VA, at least 1,200 veterans were mistakenly told by the Veterans Administration that they suffer from a Lou Gehrig’s disease, a fatal neurological disease, among other problems due to a “coding error” in their system.
That’s right, the VA failed to properly follow directions and gave at least one veteran AIDS. They told over 1200 they had ALS when, in fact, they did not. Add these to the Administrator who directed mental health workers NOT to diagnosis PTSD in combat veterans due to the potential costs. She wanted the veterans to be diagnosed with anti-social behavior or pre-existing depression so the VA would not be responsible for their care.
Manufactured events
BO and his congressional lap dogs are out there claiming people questioning global warming are right wing kooks. They like to claim the tea party movement is nothing but a bunch of manufactured events. I have personally attended tea parties and know I have never been paid by Fox. I wish they would pay me. I protest because I am fed up with this administration.
Lets conceed some of the protests are manufactured. So what!!!! So someone organized them. What is wrong with that? Before this have you ever heard the left complain about “manufactured Events”? You know, manufactured events like peace demonstrations in DC and other cities. Events like the “Million Man Martch.” Of course not. These events agreed with the left’s politically correct beliefs. Free speech is great as long as you agree with them. Disagree and they want to jail you.
Obama Care
When are the American people going to wake up? Does the left ac tually believe that the same people that run the post office, Department of Veterans Affairs and the Bureau of Indian Affairs can run a National Health Care system? How truthful do they think Obama is when he says this will save taxpayers money?
Look at the history of government run programs. Social Security (or is that insecurity?) is broke. If a private company ran an “insurance” program this poorly that individual would be in prison. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is still in court over oil money they can not account for. In order to keep the court from being able to determine the extent of their criminal activity, employees of the Bureau of Indian Affairs distroyed millions of documents. The situation is so bad auditors have declared the accounts unauditable. Native Americans have been cheated out of billions by the agency charged with protecting their assets. The VA has waiting times exceeding 6 months to receive speciality care. Do we really believe times would be reduced if the government controlled the health care system? The public health service and the VA are both pleagued with incompent doctors. Would this improve if the government controlled the system? The VA has exposed the private information of thousands of veterans to potential idenity theifs by failing to safeguard computer systems. They have been responsible for many deaths of veterans by inproperly cleaning equipment and their anser to these failures is not to fire the people responsible but to just transfer them somewhere else.
Obama Care is really the beginning of the end for America.
Why is Obama so unpopular even while the MSM Media tells us otherwise?
The mainstream media has told us we are being governed by the most popular president in history. This is a lie. The truth is Obama’s popularity ratings are only one point higher than those of the least popular president, Bill Clinton, since ratings began 40 years ago. At the 100 day mark, President Clinton’s approval ratings were at 55% and President Obama’s are at 56%. In contrast, President Reagan, the most popular president had approval ratings of 67%, George H. W. Bush’s ratings were at 58%, George W’s ratings were at 62%, and even Presidents Carter and Nixon enjoyed higher approval ratings. Carters ratings were 63% and Nixon’s were 61% at this milestone point in their presidencies.
Why is BO so unpopular?
1.He promised to cut government spending and reduce the size of the deficit. He ran as a moderate but is governing from the left. President Obama is the second least popular president because he is more partisan and divisive than his predecessors – including Richard Nixon.
2. He promised to cut taxes for the poor and middle class. In fact, he has increased the tax burden for the poor and middle class. While he may have made minor changes to the income tax laws, he has increased tobacco taxes which primarily affect the poor and middle class. He wants to increase the costs of carbon based fuels which will impact the poor more than the rich. He advocates increasing the gas tax, again impacting the poor more than the rich.
3. He advocates raising taxes on business. Fact, business DOES NOT pay taxes. Like all other expenses, tax is simply passed on to the consumer.
4. He has more than tripled the deficit in less than 100 days. I thought he was going to cut the deficit. Wait, he has decided to cut a bunch of programs to save money. What the media fails to tell us is he is just going to spend that money on other things. Net spending reduction from these cuts, $o.
5. He has told his Cabinet members to find ways to cut their budgets. The cuts he wants amount are comparable to a typical person cutting out a cup of coffee a week. Again these are not real cuts because he plans on spending the money somewhere else.
What American’s want, regardless of what Colin Powell claims, is less Government and lower taxes. We need to get back to the Constitution. I contend that most Cabinet offices are unconstitutional. I challenge anyone to show me in the Constitution the authority for ant departments other that State, Homeland Security, Defense and possibly Commerce. Even the office of Attorney General is hard to justify under the Constitution. The Department’s of Education, Veteran’s Affairs, Agriculture, and almost all others defy the Constitution.
Name calling
Have you ever noticed how often the left resorts to name calling? Why is it that when someone on the right makes a reasoned argument that they can not refute the left almost always resorts to name calling? This action shows how bankrupt the left really is. They are all in favor of free speech as long as you agree with them. If you disagree they call you stupid or worse and demand you shut up.
Now Congress has decided to pass “Hate Speech” legislation. Look at how similar legislation has been used in other countries, like our neighbor to the north. If a Christian minister speaks out about the gay lifestyle or abortion he is charged with hate speech. Some have even been jailed. Speak out against radical Islam and you are guilty of hate speech. Call Christians names and that is not hate speech.

Like a former president said “If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen.” It is time for the left to stop trying to silence those of us who disagree with them and come up with rational reasons we should agree with them. I am open to intelligent disagreement but I will fight to the death any attempt to shut me up in violation of my Constitutional freedom.
Read the Constitution Mr. President
What are the powers granted to the Federal government? Read Article I, Section 8 for the powers of Congress. Note that this Section grants Congress the power to levy taxes to “Provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States.” This section does not say provide for the Welfare of the People of the United States. It is specific that Congress should provide for the Welfare of the country.
This section also calls for Congress to promote the Progress of Science and the Arts. This support is limited to giving the Authors and Inventors the Exclusive Right to their Writings and Discoveries for “limited Times. The Constitution does not give the Congress the right to provide funding for either the Arts or Sciences.
Section 10 lays out what is prohibited to the States. These are; entering into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; granting Letters of Marquee and Reprisal, coin money, emit Bills of Credit, make any Thing but gold and silver Coins a Tender in Payment of Debts, pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.
States also cannot, without the Consent of Congress lay any Imposts or Duties on Imports or Exports, except when ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for executing its inspection Laws. Any of these imposts and duties are reserved of the Treasury of the United States.
President
Commander in Chief of the Navy and Army and of the Militia of the States when they are called into actual service of the United States.
Making treaties with the advice and consent of the Senate. Treaties require the consent of two-thirds of the Senate.
Nominate and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Councils, Judges of the Supreme Court and all other Officers of the United States whose appointments are not otherwise provided for.
NOTE: The Constitution DOES NOT give the President any domestic powers. Therefore it is a violation of the Constitution when the President and by default, his cabinet make any rules that are Domestic in Nature. I believe any rules made by any Cabinet Department except the Departments of Defense, Commerce, State and Homeland Security UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
A Proud Right Wing Extremist
Well, I guess this blog makes me a Right Wing extremist. After all, I believe in the US Constitution. I believe in the very clear wording of the 10th Amendment. The Department of Homeland Security has stated that that makes me a right wing extremist. I thought the Director of Homeland Security swore to defend the Constitution. I thought the President swore to defend the Constitution.
Not only do I believe in the 10th Amendment to the Constitution but I am also a military veteran. I oppose abortion. I participated in the Tea Party in Wheeling, WV. All of these things make me an extremist according to this Administration. It is time to throw the bums in Congress out of office. We need to change the party on Capital Hill then we need to impeach this President. If that makes me a rightwing Extremist, I will wear that badge proudly.
A Christian Nation
So Obama tells the Turks the US is not a Christian Nation.
Tell that to our founders who understood that faith in God is indelibly linked to liberty.
Thomas Jefferson declared, “The God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time. The hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them.” Shortly before his death, he wrote, “Adore God. Reverence and cherish your parents. Love your neighbor as yourself, and your country more than yourself. Be just. Be true. Murmur not at the ways of Providence.”
James Madison stated, “The belief in a God All Powerful wise and good, is so essential to the moral order of the world and to the happiness of man, that arguments which enforce it cannot be drawn from too many sources nor adapted with too much solicitude to the different characters and capacities impressed with it.”
John Adams averred, “It is the duty of all men in society, publicly, and at stated seasons, to worship the SUPREME BEING, the great Creator and Preserver of the universe.”
John Jay affirmed, “The Bible is the best of all books, for it is the word of God and teaches us the way to be happy in this world and in the next. Continue therefore to read it and to regulate your life by its precepts.”
Justice Joseph Story, however, cautioned us: “It yet remains a problem to be solved in human affairs, whether any free government can be permanent, where the public worship of God, and the support of religion, constitute no part of the policy or duty of the state in any assignable shape.”
Looking at the degraded state of constitutional rule of law today, and the abject corruption of our executive, legislative and judicial branches of government, it would appear that “separation of church and state” has proven conclusively that liberty is in great peril when its source, the God of all nature, is evicted from those institutions.
That notwithstanding, true liberty is in fact a state of mind, an understanding of Who provides this blessing through all eternity. In the words of the Apostle Paul to the Colossians: “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”
Forced Retirement
Following is a letter I received over the net. Older workers have already began seeing the same type of letter. Maybe the terms have been changed, but, no matter how it is written, the meaning is the same.
Dear Valued Employee:
As a result of budget reductions for all department areas, we are forced to cut back on our number of personnel. Under the new plan, older employees will be asked to take early retirement, thus permitting the retention of younger people who represent our future.
Therefore, a program to phase out older personnel by the end of the next fiscal year, via retirement, will be placed into effect immediately.
This program will be known as S.L.A.P.. (Severance of Late-Aged Personnel).
Employees who are SLAPPED will be given the opportunity to look for jobs outside the company.
SLAPPED employees can request a review of their employment records before actual retirement takes place. This review phase of the program will be called S.C.R.E.W. (Survey of Capabilities of Retired Elderly Workers).
All employees who have been SLAPPED and SCREWED may file an appeal with upper management.
This appeal is called S.H.A.F.T. (Study by Higher Authority Following Termination).
Under the terms of the new policy, an employee may be SLAPPED once, SCREWED twice, but may be SHAFTED as many times as the company deems appropriate.
If an employee follows the above procedure, he/she will be entitled to get: H.E.R.P.E..S. (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel’s Early Severance) or C.L.A.P. (Combined Lump Sum Assistance Payment).
As H.E.R.P.E.S. and C..L.A..P. are considered benefit plans, any employee who has received H.E.R..P.E.S. or C.L.A.P. will no longer be SLAPPED or SCREWED by the company.
Management wishes to assure the younger employees who remain on board, that the company will continue its policy of training employees through our: Special High Intensity Training (S.H.I.T.)
We take pride in the amount of S.H.I.T. our employees receive. We have given our employees more S.H.I.T. than any company in this area. If any employee feels they do not receive enough S.H.I.T. on the job, see your immediate supervisor… Your supervisor is specially trained to make sure you receive all the S.H..I.T. you can stand.
