Dirty Campaigns

October 30, 2008 at 7:26 am (Conservative, Politics, Uncategorized)

For the last 8 years we have been hearing the left scream about the alleged dirty tactics of the right. They like to ignore James Carvel’s work for the Clintons. This man didn’t just misquote his opponents he made up things. They also ignore the FBI files on those who dared oppose the Clintons found in Hilliary’s White House office. They accuse McCain of racism when it is really Obama who first raised the race issue and continues to do so They continue to claim people at Palin rallies scream “KILL HIM” when Obama’s name is mentioned, a claim that the Secret Service has said, after a complete investigation, did NOT happen. At the same time Obama supporters in Ohio illegally used the state computer system in an attempt to discredit” Joe the Plumber” because he dared ask the anointed one a question that resulted in Obama making a statement harmful to his campaign. The anointed ones true belief was revealed instead of his lies about raising taxes. The anointed one’s supporters are using the Missouri legal system to threaten people who make a statement about Obama that they consider damaging.
The Left wants Americans to believe a man who, if he was trying to get a job in the government, would be disqualified because he could not get a security clearance. They want us to reveal the Nation’s deepest secrets to a man who would not even qualify for a confidential clearance let alone a Top Secret or Eyes-Only clearance.
The Left wants us to vote for a man who tells American Jews he is their best friends while writing in his book that he would support Moslems if the sh– hits the fan.
The Left wants us to vote for a man who in 2001 expressed his disappointment that the Supreme Court did not address redistribution of wealth. His desire was to have the court ignore the Constitution, a sin the Left has been accusing George Bush of for the last eight years. Of course when the Left is asked to tell us exactly what part of the Constitution he is violating they go silent acting like all that matters is their accusation, not reality.

Stevens convicted

October 29, 2008 at 8:41 am (Conservative, Politics, Uncategorized)

Senator Ted Stevens was convicted yesterday. Already Republicans (including McCain) are calling on him to resign. In almost every case of a Republican legislator getting into hot water his own party calls for that person to step down. Not so with the Left. Don’t believe this? Let’s look at some of them. Kennedy, drunk driving resulting in the death of a young woman. Result; not even a trial and still serving in the Senate. Barn door Franks; a male prostitution ring ran out of his Washington apartment. Results still serving in the House. Jeffers of La caught on tape taking a bribe. Result the FBI tried to search his office and Bush was accused of trying to go against the “Separation of Powers.” Still serving in the House. Hastings, a former Federal Judge convicted of basically the same crime as Stevens and impeached. Result, now serving in the House. Need I continue? This happens time after time.

30 wasted minutes

October 29, 2008 at 8:37 am (Conservative, Politics, Uncategorized)

Obama is going to appear in a infomercial on most of the networks tonight. I can not think of many ways to waste a half hour than listening to a half hour of lies. The left tells us this will be an important program because Obama will have the opportunity to tell the American people what he really thinks. They tell us that what he says is all that matters. His past does not in any way reflect what he will do if elected. Who his friends are does not matter. Only what he says matters. This is hogwash. The old saying ” You know who a person is by who they call friends” is as true today as it was in my grandparents day.

Paranoid Left

October 27, 2008 at 9:21 pm (Conservative, Politics, Veterans)

The Left is really acting paranoid. They are already accusing the Right of trying to steal the election, just like the accusations they have made in the last 2 elections. Strange that the “Hanging Chads” and “Butterfly Ballets” were in counties that had Democrat election officials. The Democrats instructed their rabble on how to challenge military voted in an attempt to disenfranchise the members of the military serving overseas. In many cases they were successful at getting military votes thrown out on minor technical errors like no postmark. Since mail from ships at sea do not receive a postmark this effectively disenfranchised the naval vote. Why did they do this. Well of course because they know the military leans toward the right and they can’t have that. Now, who tried to steal the last election? This year they are using ACORN to register tens of thousands of new voters. Thousands have already been proven to be fraudulent. Here in Ohio the Sec. of State has refused to share with County Election Boards the results of computer cross checks that call registrations into question. She is a Democrat and knows that the fraudulent votes will go to the Left. ACORN has even bussed the homeless to the Boards of Election to get them registered and then they vote the same day. Wonder how many of these voted more than once. Let’s face it, the Left doesn’t care about the truth. Obama has been caught in so many lies that the old joke about knowing a politician is lying when his lips are moving is proving true in his case. Even when he tells the truth the left ignores his answer and instead tries to bury the person who asked the question. Why was so much effort given by the media to discredit Joe the Plumber. It doesn’t matter who asked the question. Obama’s answer is what is important and that answer shows he is a socialist. His idea of government is to steal from hard working Americans and give to those who are too lazy to work. Obama has no real knowledge of history or of the American economic system. He claims in speeches that we have always built the economy from the bottom up. Who is he trying to fool. The poor create NO jobs. The economy is built by people willing to risk capital to build a business with the hope of success.

Obama supporter dumps dog crap on McCain supporter

October 17, 2008 at 4:24 pm (Conservative, Politics, Uncategorized)

Just a practicle joke for BO fan but if a McCain supporter did this the MSM woud really be up in arms about the “HATE and RACISM”

Man shows his political preference with dog feces

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — A man was ticketed for unlawful dumping after admitting to putting dog feces in his neighbor’s truck for political reasons. Police Sgt. Jerry Edblad said a 19-year-old St. Cloud man told police he has found small baggies of dog feces in the back of his pickup truck for the past few weeks.

Donald Esmay told KNSI-AM the feces started appearing in his truck right after he put a 2-foot-by-4-foot McCain sign there.

He and his family watched the truck trying to catch the culprit, but didn’t have any luck until Wednesday when his mother and brother saw someone from the neighborhood.

They confronted the 45-year-old man, who admitted to it and said it was childish.

When police later spoke with the neighbor, Edblad said he told officers he did it because he “hates McCain.”

The unlawful dumping ticket comes with a $183 fine.

Obama’s college tax credit plans

October 17, 2008 at 2:00 pm (Conservative, Politics, Veterans)

Higher-Education Tax Credit. Senator Obama has proposed an American Opportunity Tax Credit, which is a new higher-education tax credit that is an expanded version of the existing Hope Scholarship Tax Credit. Currently, the Hope credit allows taxpayers to take a non-refundable tax credit equal to 100 percent of the first $1,200 of qualified education expenses plus 50 percent of the next $1,200. Senator Obama’s credit would be fully refundable and apply to the first $4,000 of college expenses.

One hundred hours of community service would be required to receive the benefit. The proposed credit is refundable, which would allow taxpayers to receive a benefit even if they do not pay federal income tax. Based on available information about the plan, it appears that the current-law income phase-out would also apply to the new credit.

Do the math. This amounts to a salary for “Community Service” of $40 an hour. Pretty generous if you ask me. It sure is a lot more than the average American now makes and makes government look like Scruge for what it pays members of the military.

Here is an interesting article that tells the truth. Look at the truth, not the spin. The truth shows the McCain plan is much better for the country.

Random musings

October 17, 2008 at 11:32 am (Conservative, Politics, Uncategorized)

Just 3 weeks until the election and McCain is trailing from 2 to 10 points depending on the poll. Interestingly, every Republican who has been this close in the polls in the last 50 years has won the election. Because of the way the polls are worded and the way they select the people to be polled it seems they almost always favor the Democrat. The liberal MSM will continue to tell people their polls show McCain has no chance of winning. Don’t believe it. I find it hard to believe the American voters will elect a man who is so openly socialist. He is upfront on what he plans on doing. BO’s claim that he will give a tax break to 95% of the American taxpayers is a lie, However, in the eyes of a socialist, even though 40% of Americans pay NO tax, their will still be a tax reduction for them because of the REFUNDABLE tax credits. Currently the only refundable tax credit is the Earned Income Credit. BO wants to make all the credits he is proposing except the College credit refundable. In other words you get the credit even if you owe no tax. If your tax is 0 you get a refund from the money someone else has paid. This is NOT a tax reduction, it is welfare under a new name. Don’t be taken in by the lie. Redistribution of the wealth will result in lower tax revenue, not more. The higher the tax rate the lower the revenue. This has been shown many times over. Even the Lefts hero JFK ubderstood this fact and lowered taxes. As McCain asked why would you want to raise taxes on anyone at a time like this?

Dirty campaigning

October 15, 2008 at 11:42 am (Conservative, Politics, Uncategorized)

Since when has telling the truth about a candidate been dirty campaigning. Well, of course, since the media decided to get into bed with Liberal Democrats. Listen to the complaints by the media about McCain’s campaign and the silance about BO doing exactly the same thing. It is OK for BO to make up things about McCain but not OK for McCain to tell the truth about BO. It is OK for BO to send 20 Lawers to Alaska to try to dig up dirt on Palin but not OK for the McCain campaign to even mention Ayers or Wright. Of course it is never OK to bring up the fact that the attempt to remake the Chicago Schools into good schools by putting in 180 Million dollars was a complete failure. Even after spending all that money and even with the “hard work” by Ayers and BO Chicago’s schools still graduate just 40% of their students. BO knows how bad the Chicago schools are; he sends his kids to a private school.

Truth about BO

The following appeared in Investers Business Daily and is must reading for true Americans.

McCain Must Get Truth Out About Obama

By PHYLLIS SCHLAFLY | Posted Tuesday, October 14, 2008 4:30 PM PT

The media are piling on against John McCain and some pundits are predicting it’s all over, that Barack Obama has somehow won the election.

As the old saying goes, it’s not over until the fat lady sings, and it’s time she sang about Obama’s scary agenda and the many reasons why it is too risky to elect him president.

We need to hear more about ACORN, the special-interest group that would like to steal this election by registering people who are not eligible to vote, such as ghost voters in Nevada under the names of the Dallas Cowboys. The public should know that Obama was for years closely associated with ACORN.

We should hear more about Obama’s political friend William Ayers, the unrepentant bomber and Ward Churchill-type professor, who has a really scary plan to remake the curriculum of public schools in order to turn kids into radical socialists like himself. Obama helped deliver big bucks to Ayers’ radical education project in Chicago.

Obama has already introduced one bill in the Senate called the Positive Behavior for Effective Schools Act, which would implement Ayers’ social-outcome notions, and another to teach kindergartners Al Gore’s propaganda about climate change. Voters should be reminded that Obama has called for making “sure your child can speak Spanish.”

We need to have further explanations of the hateful attitudes Obama expressed in his autobiography “Dreams From My Father.” We need further investigation of author Jack Cashill’s evidence that this book was actually ghostwritten by Ayers.

The media have carefully crafted the several presidential debates to avoid two issues that are helpful to John McCain and hurtful to Obama: immigration and abortion. Let’s get those issues out on the table.

Voters need to know that Obama favors giving driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. This practice is so unpopular with the voters that it brought down the political career of New York’s recent unlamented Gov. Eliot Spitzer and caused the recall of California Gov. Gray Davis.

The one debate where the abortion issue was discussed was at Saddleback Church, where Obama revealed his unacceptable attitude with the stupid statement that a discussion of the personhood of an unborn baby is above his pay grade. What’s really above his pay grade is the job of U.S. president and commander in chief.

Four-dollar gasoline and the need for energy independence by drilling for American oil could be the No. 1 issue in the 2008 election. It should be hammered home to voters that McCain and Sarah Palin are on the right side of this issue and Obama is wrong.

American voters need to be told that the current financial crisis was caused by the liberal policies of men who are mostly Democrats. A Sept. 30, 1999, New York Times article explained how Fannie Mae, under then-chairman and Clinton appointee Franklin Raines, took on “significantly more risk” by demanding that the banks give subprime mortgages to low-income people who could not afford the houses they were buying.

By the end of the Clinton administration, 44% of the loans purchased by Fannie Mae were these risky mortgages. ACORN accelerated this practice by getting unemployed people to demonstrate in bank lobbies, demanding that more mortgages be given to people without adequate credit.

Good U.S. manufacturing jobs were moving overseas years before the current financial crunch. The Clinton administration globalists, the policies of Clinton’s Wall Street friends such as Robert Rubin, and the trade agreements that discriminate against American workers and products are all part of our current economic distress.

The American people should be reminded that everything Barack Obama proposes will require higher taxes. Only tax reduction and the encouragement of good U.S. jobs will promote economic recovery, not tax increases or taxpayer bailouts of the billions lost by avoidable mistakes.

State amendments for traditional marriage are repeatedly adopted by the voters. The public should be reminded that Obama opposes these amendments and said he “respects” the outrageous California same-sex marriage decision.

The Democratic platform opposes the Defense of Marriage Act. DOMA is one of the most popular laws Congress ever passed; it protects us from judges who try to force other states to accept the gay mischief of Massachusetts, California and Connecticut.

The voters should be reminded that Obama is promising all kinds of costly benefits to be paid for by already-burdened taxpayers, such as his bill to implement “the U.S. Millennium Development Goals, which aim to cut extreme poverty in half by 2015″ and to “double” annual spending for this goal.

Voters, not polls or pundits, will decide this presidential election. It’s time to make sure the voters have as much information as possible about the candidates.
