Ever wonder
Have you ever wondered why we even bother with blogging? I know some days I question if it is even worth my time to talk politics to anyone. Just look at the actions of our government. The House passes Cap and Trade legislation knowing that the Administration and the EPA has lied to them and the public about Global Climate Change. When a long time trusted EPA Employee debunked the science he was told not to work on Climate Change. At a time when more and more scientists are questioning the science Congress and the Administration act with unusual speed. Hundreds of pages of the bill were dumped on Representatives in the middle of the night and they voted on it the following day. I remember the old days of computer technology. Back then we had a saying-GIGO- Garbage in garbage out. All of the Global Climate Change “Research” findings are based on computer simulations. If the computer doesn’t agree with the preconceived conclusion it is so easy to change the input. People believe the outcome because they have been convinced computers do not make mistakes. Perhaps they don’t, but if the input is wrong, so is the output. The Global Climate Change religion is based not on science, but faith. No model can take into account all the variables so “scientists” use limited information. These same models were unable to accurately predict the spread of toxic clouds from oil well fires in the Middle East.
When the Left tries to discredit those of us who do not bow to the Global Warming god they say follow the money. Lets do the same for the biggest blow hard nut pushing this religion, All Gore. Gore has made millions on this scam and stands to make billions if the Senate goes along with the House. Meanwhile, US Industry goes in the toilet. BO claims we will not even feel the results of his “change”. Even his crazy VP has admitted they “GUESSED” wrong. How much more of these guesses from people who have never held a real job let alone ran a company can this country take? If the Democrats’ goal is the killing of all American business and the ruination of our way of life, they are succeeding.
Saved Jobs
BO claims he has saved or created over 500,000 jobs with his stimulus plan. What is really telling is the MSM has accepted this claim without question. The truth is there is NO WAY the administration can possibly count the number of “SAVED” jobs. Were this claim made by anyone but the anointed one the media would be up in arms. This is beyond a SWAG, it is a bold faced lie. BO has no idea if his policies have saved even one job. As far as the creation of new jobs, this is even more of a joke. Truth is these “Jobs” are government make work positions that are only temporary. How this clown can claim to be creating or saving jobs when the unemployment level is increasing every week is really questionable. Is BO so stupid as to believe this crap or does he just think we are that stupid.
Looking at the blogs it really looks like a large number of Americans are dumb enough to believe every lie that comes out of the mouth of BO. BO is a serial lier. Even China is laughing at his claims he will be able to balance the budget while spending more than all previous administrations in history. BO is a real and present danger to this great nation and needs to be removed from office along with the leadership of the house and senate. These people swore to suport and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. If they think they are following this oath, they need to read the Constitution. BO claims to be a Constitutional Scholar. What a laugh. If he truly is an expert in constitutional law, he needs to resign from office because of his failure to follow it.
Name calling
Have you ever noticed how often the left resorts to name calling? Why is it that when someone on the right makes a reasoned argument that they can not refute the left almost always resorts to name calling? This action shows how bankrupt the left really is. They are all in favor of free speech as long as you agree with them. If you disagree they call you stupid or worse and demand you shut up.
Now Congress has decided to pass “Hate Speech” legislation. Look at how similar legislation has been used in other countries, like our neighbor to the north. If a Christian minister speaks out about the gay lifestyle or abortion he is charged with hate speech. Some have even been jailed. Speak out against radical Islam and you are guilty of hate speech. Call Christians names and that is not hate speech.

Their definition of hate speech is anything the left disagrees with. I wonder if I should stop blogging here for fear of being charged with a hate crime.NO!!! Let them come after me. I am not ashamed of what I believe in. Like a former president said “If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen.” It is time for the left to stop trying to silence those of us who disagree with them and come up with rational reasons we should agree with them. I am open to intelligent disagreement but I will fight to the death any attempt to shut me up in violation of my Constitutional freedom.
Read the Constitution Mr. President
I have read many claims that President Obama is a Constitutional Scholar. There are claims he was a “Professor” of Constitutional Law. We know both claims are lies. President Obama was a lecturer but was never a professor. Anyone who has ever gone to college knows there is a vast difference between the two. Additionally, it is obvious that neither Mr. Obama nor his cabinet either don’t know what the Constitution says or they don’t care. Personally I believe it is the latter. I can not believe those who went to law school managed to graduate without at least some knowledge of the Constitution. Mr. Obama’s Department of Homeland Security has said people who believe in States rights over the rights of the Federal Government are dangerous right wing fanatics. These people need to read the US Constitution. The 10th Amendment says ” The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved by it to the States respectively, or to the people” The language could not be plainer.
What are the powers granted to the Federal government? Read Article I, Section 8 for the powers of Congress. Note that this Section grants Congress the power to levy taxes to “Provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States.” This section does not say provide for the Welfare of the People of the United States. It is specific that Congress should provide for the Welfare of the country.
This section also calls for Congress to promote the Progress of Science and the Arts. This support is limited to giving the Authors and Inventors the Exclusive Right to their Writings and Discoveries for “limited Times. The Constitution does not give the Congress the right to provide funding for either the Arts or Sciences.
Section 10 lays out what is prohibited to the States. These are; entering into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; granting Letters of Marquee and Reprisal, coin money, emit Bills of Credit, make any Thing but gold and silver Coins a Tender in Payment of Debts, pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.
States also cannot, without the Consent of Congress law any Imposts or Duties on Imports or Exports, except when ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for executing its inspection Laws. Any of these imposts and duties are reserved of the Treasury of the United States.
President
Commander in Chief of the Navy and Army and of the Militia of the States when they are called into actual service of the United States.
Making treaties with the advice and consent of the Senate. Treaties require the consent of two-thirds of the Senate.
Nominate and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Councils, Judges of the Supreme Court and all other Officers of the United States whose appointments are not otherwise provided for.
NOTE: The Constitution DOES NOT give the President any domestic powers. Therefore it is a violation of the Constitution when the President and by default, his cabinet make any rules that are Domestic in Nature. I believe any rules made by any Cabinet Department except the Departments of Defense, Commerce, State and Homeland Security UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
Forced Retirement
Following is a letter I received over the net. Older workers have already began seeing the same type of letter. Maybe the terms have been changed, but, no matter how it is written, the meaning is the same.
Dear Valued Employee:
As a result of budget reductions for all department areas, we are forced to cut back on our number of personnel. Under the new plan, older employees will be asked to take early retirement, thus permitting the retention of younger people who represent our future.
Therefore, a program to phase out older personnel by the end of the next fiscal year, via retirement, will be placed into effect immediately.
This program will be known as S.L.A.P.. (Severance of Late-Aged Personnel).
Employees who are SLAPPED will be given the opportunity to look for jobs outside the company.
SLAPPED employees can request a review of their employment records before actual retirement takes place. This review phase of the program will be called S.C.R.E.W. (Survey of Capabilities of Retired Elderly Workers).
All employees who have been SLAPPED and SCREWED may file an appeal with upper management.
This appeal is called S.H.A.F.T. (Study by Higher Authority Following Termination).
Under the terms of the new policy, an employee may be SLAPPED once, SCREWED twice, but may be SHAFTED as many times as the company deems appropriate.
If an employee follows the above procedure, he/she will be entitled to get: H.E.R.P.E..S. (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel’s Early Severance) or C.L.A.P. (Combined Lump Sum Assistance Payment).
As H.E.R.P.E.S. and C..L.A..P. are considered benefit plans, any employee who has received H.E.R..P.E.S. or C.L.A.P. will no longer be SLAPPED or SCREWED by the company.
Management wishes to assure the younger employees who remain on board, that the company will continue its policy of training employees through our: Special High Intensity Training (S.H.I.T.)
We take pride in the amount of S.H.I.T. our employees receive. We have given our employees more S.H.I.T. than any company in this area. If any employee feels they do not receive enough S.H.I.T. on the job, see your immediate supervisor… Your supervisor is specially trained to make sure you receive all the S.H..I.T. you can stand.

Its time we started screwing, shafting and slapping our elected officials and the worthless, overpaid clowns they have placed in high positions. When will we quite accepting tax cheats, thiefs, and other criminals as our nations leaders?
30 wasted minutes
Obama is going to appear in a infomercial on most of the networks tonight. I can not think of many ways to waste a half hour than listening to a half hour of lies. The left tells us this will be an important program because Obama will have the opportunity to tell the American people what he really thinks. They tell us that what he says is all that matters. His past does not in any way reflect what he will do if elected. Who his friends are does not matter. Only what he says matters. This is hogwash. The old saying ” You know who a person is by who they call friends” is as true today as it was in my grandparents day.
Veterans Day
Why do retailers find it necessary to hold Veterans Day sales? Don’t they have enough reasons already for a sale? There are two days that should not be the subject of retail sales. These days are Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Memorial Day was started as a day to remember those Americans who gave the ultimate sacrifice, their lives, so this nation could remain free. It is time for this country to again take time to honor these brave men and women. It is they and not the politician who are the reason we remain free to do things like post in blogs.
The other day is Veterans Day. Today is a day to say thank you to the men and women who gave up their youth in service of this country. Not all of us served during times of conflict, but we all delayed starting our careers to serve our fellow men.
One of our local retailers did something I find commendable. As a way of thanking veterans they are giving a free ½ gal. Of ice cream to all veterans who stop in. They require no purchase. Why don’t more people do this?
Today I spent some time reflecting on my life. I realized that my birthday, January 26 will also be the 40th Anniversary of my return from Viet Nam. I was 21 years old. Believe me, I was not the same person who went to Nam. Even now, nearly 40 years latter I wake up in cold sweats screaming from the nightmares. They will never go away.
I am not asking for you to feel sorry for me. I don’t even expect you to say thank you to me. But please take the time to say thank you to the veterans in your life.
Why is Obama so unpopular even while the MSM Media tells us otherwise?
The mainstream media has told us we are being governed by the most popular president in history. This is a lie. The truth is Obama’s popularity ratings are only one point higher than those of the least popular president, Bill Clinton, since ratings began 40 years ago. At the 100 day mark, President Clinton’s approval ratings were at 55% and President Obama’s are at 56%. In contrast, President Reagan, the most popular president had approval ratings of 67%, George H. W. Bush’s ratings were at 58%, George W’s ratings were at 62%, and even Presidents Carter and Nixon enjoyed higher approval ratings. Carters ratings were 63% and Nixon’s were 61% at this milestone point in their presidencies.
Why is BO so unpopular?
1.He promised to cut government spending and reduce the size of the deficit. He ran as a moderate but is governing from the left. President Obama is the second least popular president because he is more partisan and divisive than his predecessors – including Richard Nixon.
2. He promised to cut taxes for the poor and middle class. In fact, he has increased the tax burden for the poor and middle class. While he may have made minor changes to the income tax laws, he has increased tobacco taxes which primarily affect the poor and middle class. He wants to increase the costs of carbon based fuels which will impact the poor more than the rich. He advocates increasing the gas tax, again impacting the poor more than the rich.
3. He advocates raising taxes on business. Fact, business DOES NOT pay taxes. Like all other expenses, tax is simply passed on to the consumer.
4. He has more than tripled the deficit in less than 100 days. I thought he was going to cut the deficit. Wait, he has decided to cut a bunch of programs to save money. What the media fails to tell us is he is just going to spend that money on other things. Net spending reduction from these cuts, $o.
5. He has told his Cabinet members to find ways to cut their budgets. The cuts he wants amount are comparable to a typical person cutting out a cup of coffee a week. Again these are not real cuts because he plans on spending the money somewhere else.
What American’s want, regardless of what Colin Powell claims, is less Government and lower taxes. We need to get back to the Constitution. I contend that most Cabinet offices are unconstitutional. I challenge anyone to show me in the Constitution the authority for ant departments other that State, Homeland Security, Defense and possibly Commerce. Even the office of Attorney General is hard to justify under the Constitution. The Department’s of Education, Veteran’s Affairs, Agriculture, and almost all others defy the Constitution.
A wise use of taxpayer money
An April 23rd Toledo Blade editorial praised the recent passing by Congress and signing by the president of the new “National Service Bill.” I am so glad our elected leaders are making such responsible use of our tax money. We are really getting a bargain here. For the measly sum of just $5.7 billion we will see an additional 175,000 “volunteers” a year for 8 whole years. Please do the math. These new “volunteer” members of AmeriCorps will only cost the American TaxPayers a little over $4 million dollars each. I wonder where all that money is going. The “volunteers” sure aren’t getting paid that much. The “volunteers are doing things like mentoring children, cleaning up parks and weatherizing the homes of the poor. There should not be a whole lot of overhead in these programs. I wonder how many new “civil servant” government jobs this program is going to create to oversee the “volunteers”, decide on what projects are appropriate, do the paper work generated by the program, interface with other volunteer organizations and state and local governments and the many other tasks needed for the government to make sure the program is run according to the rules. These civil servant employees will make much more than the volunteers along with the benefits of governmental employment. This is a perfect example of an effective government program.
Taxes and Democrats
When are Democrats going to realize businesses really do NOT pay taxes? Taxes, like transportation costs, labor costs and material costs are all calculated into the Cost of Goods Sold. Like all other costs, taxes are passed on to the consumer in the form of higher prices.
While Obama claims to be giving the middle class a tax break, the reality is his increased taxes on business along with his schemes to increase the costs of Carbon Based fuels with the so called Cap and Trade legislation are simply hidden tax increases. These impact the poor and middle classes harder than they do the wealthy. Remember, Obama promised to bankrupt the coal industry and his policies are headed that way. The same union members who supported Obama and the Congressional Democrats are going to wonder where their jobs went. While claiming to be for the working man the Democrats continue to pass laws that result in job loss and increased costs to those same working men. Someone once said you can fool some of the people all of the time but you cann’t fool all of the people all of the time. The Democrats are proof that you can fool a lot of people all the time.
When will the rest of America learn from the failure of the left’s policies in California? The only reason California is growing is illigal imigration. The state is loosing its businesses and the productive members of society in droves. Dispite having some of the highest taxes in the nation California has a budget deficate larger than the budget of most states.
A Proud Right Wing Extremist
Well, I guess this blog makes me a Right Wing extremist. After all, I believe in the US Constitution. I believe in the very clear wording of the 10th Amendment. The Department of Homeland Security has stated that that makes me a right wing extremist. I thought the Director of Homeland Security swore to defend the Constitution. I thought the President swore to defend the Constitution.
Not only do I believe in the 10th Amendment to the Constitution but I am also a military veteran. I oppose abortion. I participated in the Tea Party in Wheeling, WV. All of these things make me an extremist according to this Administration. It is time to throw the bums in Congress out of office. We need to change the party on Capital Hill then we need to impeach this President. If that makes me a rightwing Extremist, I will wear that badge proudly.
A Christian Nation
So Obama tells the Turks the US is not a Christian Nation.
Tell that to our founders who understood that faith in God is indelibly linked to liberty.
Thomas Jefferson declared, “The God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time. The hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them.” Shortly before his death, he wrote, “Adore God. Reverence and cherish your parents. Love your neighbor as yourself, and your country more than yourself. Be just. Be true. Murmur not at the ways of Providence.”
James Madison stated, “The belief in a God All Powerful wise and good, is so essential to the moral order of the world and to the happiness of man, that arguments which enforce it cannot be drawn from too many sources nor adapted with too much solicitude to the different characters and capacities impressed with it.”
John Adams averred, “It is the duty of all men in society, publicly, and at stated seasons, to worship the SUPREME BEING, the great Creator and Preserver of the universe.”
John Jay affirmed, “The Bible is the best of all books, for it is the word of God and teaches us the way to be happy in this world and in the next. Continue therefore to read it and to regulate your life by its precepts.”
Justice Joseph Story, however, cautioned us: “It yet remains a problem to be solved in human affairs, whether any free government can be permanent, where the public worship of God, and the support of religion, constitute no part of the policy or duty of the state in any assignable shape.”
Looking at the degraded state of constitutional rule of law today, and the abject corruption of our executive, legislative and judicial branches of government, it would appear that “separation of church and state” has proven conclusively that liberty is in great peril when its source, the God of all nature, is evicted from those institutions.
That notwithstanding, true liberty is in fact a state of mind, an understanding of Who provides this blessing through all eternity. In the words of the Apostle Paul to the Colossians: “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”
